Willis Chinn
Willis Chinn, the founder of Skybox Aerial & Events, began his aerial journey almost two decades ago with introductory workshops in aerial silks. His passion for the art led him to pursue advanced training, instructing, performing, and competing at aerial events across California, the U.S., and internationally in Hong Kong.
With over ten years of experience in teaching and mentoring, Willis is dedicated to building a vibrant and supportive community of aerial artists. His diverse accomplishments include competing twice at Viva Fest in Las Vegas, where he earned praise from international judges, and training with some of the most respected aerial coaches, such as Dara Minkin, Brennan Figari, Jenn Bruyer, and Constance Palmer.
Certified through the renowned Paper Doll Militia, Willis is committed to inspiring and guiding emerging aerial students at Delta Athletics in Concord, California. Specializing in soft apparatus such as silks, hammock, and rope, he brings both expertise and a playful, exploratory approach to his instruction, encouraging students to push boundaries and discover new possibilities.

Jen Hyman
Upon hearing the theme of the show, Jen immediately thought of 3 songs to choose from. Having done lyra for about 3 and a half years with Beloved Little Cirucs, she decided to challenge herself with a more lyrical piece for the show. Having seen Beauty and the Beast ten times in theaters (thank you, Dad for taking me!) the titular song was an easy choice.

Katie Fark
Katie began her aerial era in 2018 when a friend begged her to drop in to an aerial yoga class. That one class reminded her of her childhood spent climbing and hanging upside down off every tree, fence, pole, and jungle gym she could find. She spent the pandemic training lyra with her mentor and friend Sarah Stonerock and since those magical beginnings has experimented with bungee, hammock, chains, trapeze, and straps with encouragement and love from the beautifully talented artists at Beloved Little Circus and Skybox Aerial.

TJ Rivera
TJ has been doing Lyra for a little over 3 years now. She instantly fell in love. She finds it so fun to be able to take her dance training and apply it to this beautiful aerial art. She's always loved performing with Willis, as well as Beloved Little Circus, who has given her so many amazing opportunities to perform. She has had the song ‘Kiss the Girl’ by Chase Holfelder on her list of songs to perform, and she was so excited when Willis announced the theme for the show. She finally gets the chance to live out her Aerial Ariel dreams!

Wanderjjjust
Judy never danced or did any athletics up until 5 years ago. She's so happy to have found pole dance and aerial arts later in life. Though she loves progression and building new skills, the generous aerial community is what she cherishes most. Judy is a mom of two girls and shares with them her love of aerial arts with her mini home studio.

Felicia
Felicia Viera has been dabbling in aerial Lyra for the past few years, and this is her third solo act. Every act she tries to push herself out of her comfort zone just a little bit more with the support of the aerial family, because it's the perfect environment to embrace her inner child that wants to play. When not doing Lyra she is probably hanging out with her boyfriend, cats, or teaching Pilates to share the joy of movement.

Gina G
Gina G. is a rope and silks artist who has been training as an aerialist for over a decade. She loves how aerial provides an opportunity to be both silly and strong. Gina teaches aerial at Athletic Playground in Emeryville, performs locally as a part of Smoke and Mirrors Menagerie, and takes every opportunity she can to dress as a cat or a fairy. By day, Gina is the owner of a dog walking and training company in Oakland, a writer and an entrepreneur. Her latest venture is an online writing support business called Coterie of Writers.

Sarah Stonerock
Sarah: Sarah Stonerock is an aerialist, instructor, performer, mom to three amazing kids, wife, and business owner. She is honored to perform tonight along side one of her fellow lyra students and friends, Melissa Barcelona. It was truly a joy to create this lyra doubles piece together.
Sarah owns Beloved Little Circus, an aerial program for children, teens, and adults. She is particularly excited to see so many of her lyra students and friends performing tonight. Enjoy the show!!!

Melissa Barcelona
With very limited athletic ability, Melissa discovered her love for aerial after taking her first class in 2020. When not in the air, Melissa enjoys tending to her aquariums and petting her needy cat.

King Kay
A gender bending performing artist, King Kay is celebrating their 3 year pole-anniversary by performing at Curtain Call Cabaret! Whether it’s pole, drag, dance or burlesque, King Kay loves nothing more than finding themselves in the spotlight. FUN FACT: Kay has performed Hook Suspension with the Band Jane’s Addiction 3 times! Another fun fact? They’re also dating the show’s EMCEE :-)

Casey Holton
Casey is an East Bay native and mother of 2. She has performed with various theatre companies, Funkmode Performance Company and Beloved Little Circus. This is her second time performing with Skybox Aeriel. Over the years, music has been a way for Casey to feel connected to her grandmother, who passed away in 2005.

Vee
Vee is non-binary and is crafting a colorful life filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures at 28. They are a human pretzel in training. They got into pole 3 years ago, and this past year have begun to explore silks, lyra, and trapeze.

JJ
Welcome to JJ's debut aerial performance! She’s so excited to share this special moment with all of you. JJ's journey into the circus world began in 2018 with her very first silks lesson from Willis, and since then, she’s had a blast exploring all kinds of apparatuses—rope, chains, lyra, straps, chair, silk, and trapeze—anything that makes her go “OoooooO!”
When she found out the theme for this show is musicals, she jumped at the chance to use “Poison” for her act. The moment she heard it in *Hazbin Hotel*, she felt an instant connection. Even though she just started working with the chair a few months ago, JJ can’t wait to perform her own choreography for the very first time!
Before diving into aerial arts, JJ was (and still is) a passionate dancer, the captain of her auxiliary team, and a volleyball player. She invites you to join her on this exciting adventure. Please enjoy the show!

Meg
Meg Hamilton is an aerial silks student and teacher aiming to give inspiring performances that blend strength, grace, and creativity. With a background in dance, martial arts, and CrossFit, Meg brings a unique artistic vision to every routine, showcasing her love of the art, daring drops, and musicality. Meg believes that art should be shared and takes pride in offering lots of opportunities to young aerialists, to learn, and perform, and push the boundaries of what is possible in the air. Meg is “honored to perform for you tonight” and hopes that you enjoy every minute of show!

Kayla Knowles
Kayla Knowles is the Artistic Director at Skybox Aerial. She's been in the aerial world for the last three years and is excited to do her first performance on chains. She's been an artist behind the scenes most of her life, working as a Technical Director and teacher, but now she's ready for the stage. She fell in love with chains before she even got to touch them and didn't really get to actively train on them until the last six months. She loves chains, but she can't say no to any apparatus thrown her way!

Kim Larson
: She has been practicing aerial (mainly pole, but also silks, hammock, and hoop) for 14 years. She teaches pole and chair at Rockit Pole in Oakley and has won 2 metals from PSO pole competitions as a member of Revolution Dance team. She feels that performing is always fun but made better when performing as a group with friends.

Rachel Baden
Rachel took her first pole class 2.5 years ago at the urging of a friend and slowly became obsessed. She enjoys occasionally branching out into other apparatuses such as chair dance like tonight’s performance.

Fury Roz
Fury Roz was born from a band of rebels in a desert land. Just kidding, they are actually painfully shy and working as a flower shop assistant right now. They recently found a strange looking plant and they're not sure what to do with it. But you know how the story goes.
