Myles Hochman

Myles Hochman (they/he) is a multidisciplinary aerialist, with a special love for aerial hoop and more recently aerial chains. They began their circus arts journey after college in 2014, when trying aerial hoop for the first time expanded their life beyond being “a brain in a jar.” Since then, they have worked to hone their technical skills and artistic voice with renowned coaches in Boston, San Francisco, and Montreal. Myles has had the pleasure of performing in shows throughout the US as well as internationally. They’re often drawn to making work with a focus on queer narratives, grounded in both the rawly human and deeply fantastical. They love using momentum and gravity to punctuate and accentuate compelling stories, and aim for their work to center emotional authenticity and speak to those who need it most.

Aliyah

Your favorite grown-up Tinkerbelle - a little pixie with a dangerous streak.

Performing to Beyoncé's cover of Jolene, she brings a slow burn to the pole. With nearly six years in aerial arts and pole, her movement blends strength and softness, sharp lines and velvety transitions.

Known for creating stories in the air, she doesn't just climb and drop she builds tension, plays with eye contact, and seduces the crowd one controlled spin at a time. Often performing to Beyoncé, she channels that bold, feminine energy while making it entirely her own.

Sweet like a fairy... but don't get too close. Jolene might beg - but Tink doesn't.

Brian Forbes

Brian is a straps artist based in the Bay Area. He has been training straps since 2022, primarily at Revel Room Studios and Ly's Pole Studio. This is his first time performing with Skybox Aerial. Although his first apparatus was pole, he was drawn to straps from the first time he saw them performed. He loves their beauty and simplicity. He looks forward to sharing his act to a cover of Six Feet Under (originally by Billie Eilish).

Aerial Avery

Avery has been performing aerial since 2023 and is so excited to be performing with SkyBox for a third time. She had a hard time choosing a song for this show amongst all the amazing covers out there but can't wait to put her own spin (no pun intended) on a great reimagining of a Blondie classic.

Symone Dolai

This is the 2nd time performing in this show and it has become somthing to look forward to, to train for and to share with an audience. I always like to bring something a little different every time. Last year I performed on mini aerial hoop. This performance also brings something unique to the stage that I hope you will enjoy and will be talking about for weeks, months even years to come.

Katie

Katie dove into aerial just as the pandemic began and spent the lockdown finding joy swinging from a lyra hoop. She has played with different apparatuses since and found a deep connection in her first time with chains about two years ago. The heaviness and momentum at play has allowed her to grow closer to feeling, giving her the gift of approaching aerial from her heart instead of her logic.

Kayla Knowles

Kayla Knowles is the Artistic Director at Skybox Aerial. She's been in the aerial world for the last three years and is excited to continue to perform with one of her best friends. She's been an artist behind the scenes most of her life, working as a Technical Director and teacher, but now she's ready for the stage. She fell in love with chains before she even got to touch them and didn't really get to actively train on them until mid 2024. She loves chains, but she can't say no to any apparatus thrown her way!

Ashley Rexford

Ashley is very excited to be returning to perform with Skybox Aerial. Especially because she adores cover songs. Like really, she loves them. Perfect show theme.

Those who know her will be surprised to find however, that she didn't choose a screamy rock cover for her performance. You'll instead find her embracing a softer side, and exploring what it means to yearn.
